RODEO MONTUBIO:

This tradition is born from the cowboys who live in rural areas or the countryside, the participants give a sample of the customs and skills acquired in the work that they perform daily, mainly in places such as haciendas.

AMORPHOUS:

These are part of the oral tradition of the towns, where unlike the copla, the romantic is mixed with feelings imposed from the experiences of the heart.

 

RODEO DE SALITRE:

The settings in which the rodeos take place are made with cane, mate stick, wire, nails and cables. The floor of the arena where the cowboys perform their maneuvers and skills is made of rammed earth.

FESTIVAL OF FLOWERS AND FRUITS:

It is one of the most important celebrations in the carnival season in Ecuador.

CORPUS CHISTI :

Corpus Christi is a traditional Catholic religious celebration, which has great Spanish influence, it is mixed with the traditional ancestral festivals that is to mother earth,

PASEO DEL CHAGRA:

THE  MAMA BLACK:

In honor of the Virgen de la Merced.

The main character of Mama Negra is a man disguised in elegant clothing, his face painted black, he parades with a black doll, mounted on a horse.

 

INTI RAIMI:

It is a ritual that is carried out in Ecuador, this traditional celebration of the indigenous peoples, is known as the festivities of the sun and appreciation of the harvest, coincides with the festivities of San Pedro.

TUCUMAN:

The dance of the ribbons or Tucumán is a dance performed by a fabric with 12 ribbons in the center

AMAZON OR EAST

CHONTA FESTIVAL;

The Chonta festival is a celebration that is held for the chonta harvest, this fruit is characteristic of eastern Ecuador. It is a festival held by the Shuar nationality.

THE VOTE:

Its practice is carried out in meetings and celebrations that take place in the community. And it consists of the exhibition on a table of a jug or fountain adorned with roasted guinea pigs.
